Equinox were sponsors of the 2012 New Zealand CIO Summit, which ran at the Auckland SKYCITY convention centre on 25 and 26 June. Several hundred CIOs and senior IT professionals from around the country attended the event to hear speakers such as Tim Campos, CIO of Facebook.

The Equinox stand included a selection of 48 New Zealand brewed craft beers, and demonstrated the change from 25 years ago when there were few beer options to today where there are hundreds of niche beers, with something for everyone. Equinox offers a range of services to facilitate business change in client organisations, and the change in the beer industry provided an excellent example of business change.

Congratulations to Johan Vendrig, GM Information Services at healthAlliance who was the lucky winner of the 48 craft beers. And well done to Julian Downs, Equinox IT Consulting Director, and Dave Lunn, Business Development Manager, who manned our stand without drinking any of the beer (at least that is what they told me).
